Good morning, Lions!

Please stand and join me for the Pledge of Allegiance.

Congratulations to Amaziah Afalava (Am-uh-zie-uh Ah-fah-lah-vuh.)  Yesterday morning in "0" Period Weight Training, Ama tied the school Hex Bar Deadlift record of 675lbs!

Last call for yearbooks! We only have 60 left. Purchase it with the bookkeeper and pick it up at the main office before Friday.  Only $35 for this year and we still have discounted books from all the previous years on sale if you need to complete your collection.

Your DECA store is working on cleaning out their inventory.  Come check out what is left, try something new, or grab a mystery grab bag.  Look for the daily specials and promotions until we run out.  DECA will be open with limited inventory this Friday and CLOSED the last week of school.

Interested in running Cross Country this next year or just getting in shape?  Join us this Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 3 to 4:30 pm for a workout to get you started on your summer fit goals.

Hello Lion Crew Leaders! We will have a brief lunch meeting this week. You should stop by room 219 either today or tomorrow. You will sign for your service hours and complete the final assignment for your peer mentor credit. Your signature is required. Thank you for all you have done for your students this year, and we look forward to checking in with you today or tomorrow!

Seniors-If you haven’t picked up your graduation tickets yet. Make sure you are cleared through your counselor and the Career Center then see Mrs. Anderson in the Activities & Athletics office. She will be here until 3pm today.

Good morning, Lions!

Skip the long lines at Starbucks and Hux in the morning and come grab a Starbucks inspired drink and sweet treat before your first period class! 9th grade ASB is selling iced coffee for $2, pink drinks for $3, and summer berry with strawberry popping boba for $3. Add a piece of banana bread or cake pop for $1 each. It's the perfect combo to get you through the morning!

Attention Seniors: Tomorrow, bring your orange Senior Class T-shirt or a plain white T-shirt to school. Throughout the day, you’ll have the opportunity to have your shirt signed by your fellow seniors as a keepsake for the class of 2026. Don’t forget to bring a sharpie! Let’s make some lasting memories before graduation.

Interested in playing on the boys' no-cut tennis team next fall? Please attend a meeting in room 318 during Lion Time on Friday. We will discuss summer tennis opportunities and important fall tryout information.

The Lion Crew is in place at AMHS to help freshmen lions, as well as new students who come to our school during the year. We believe that YOU have the ability to lead and assist new students.  Would you please consider joining the Lion Crew?  We are looking for ALL current 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students who would like to lead and make a positive impact. Volunteer hours are provided.  Find the QR code around the building to sign up or see Ms. Stenson or Mrs. Portmann for more details.

Seniors: Do you need handicapped seating and parking for your family at Graduation? Please see Mrs. Anderson in the Athletics & Activities office by June 10th to get your pass.
